*I've always loved the slice of life genre and this series just hit it on the spot with all the goodness come pre-bundled; Nice art, great voice actor and interesting story. I'm catching up with most anime that has been released over past three weeks between my works and club activities(yeah, I'm forced to watch them on midnight or early morning).

Face it, when you listen to a good song you will probably want to be able to sing it the right way too; memorizing/knowing the lyrics and understanding the meaning will help especially when you have limited to no command over the song's language. And nobody(so far) have posted the lyrics for Kanade(奏) yet so according to any pioneer's principle: when you found none you make one yourself.

I missed sleep.

Really, even though till few days ago I would curl comfortably on my bed for hours without any disturbance and urgent needs - everything changed when the Fire Nation attacked. Pun aside, I have been pulling three overnighter in row, and this coming from a guy who slept around 2-3 in the morning(If you do the math correctly then you're right, I slept at 5-6AM). Guess what's the next best thing? Wake up at 9, pull another meeting and worked through the whole day with some quick napping chances.

The only logical reason of why I'm typing this right now is that because my work have finished in its entirety. It's funny that once something burdensome and tiring ended, your head felt lighter but it just seems heavier than usual. I might be writing nonsense, but my writing are mostly craps anyway that I spouted in few moments of randomness that strike me.

Gotta sleep for tomorrow Xterra Teaser Events, going to substitute somebody for being the person in charge for it so I can't just fall asleep or anything.

*Ah and Happy Chinese New Year - it's a Horse year anyway ;)

Do you ever feel "everything", like literally "EVERYTHING" in a sense?
Like, you feel despair and hope, anger and tenacity, passive and impulsive, lost and found(yep, that's a pun) in a single undescribed speck of lingering emotion?


I did.
And it hurts a lot when something you're expecting just turned out to be the other "thing" that you actually expected too but still didn't want to accept. I know I'm spouting nonsenses here but this whole business about expecting the unexpected and setting up expectations could kill are much more complicated than eating your sandwich breakfast with some nutella spread and cheese slices.


One thing I know for sure, my #runtillyoudrop adopted from my running mates do help as a mean to an end. I regained my composure from that morning run(it helps that my twisted humour still works even in worst circumstances) but the short-term after effect still affects me in a way I'm writing this at 5 AM in the morning without sleeping.

Deemo

No, it's not a misspelled word. Deemo is an actual title for a rhythm-based game in iOS and Android. And it's worth noting that it's my first ever app purchase in the Google Play for $1.99. I never spent any single penny before for an app but this one is truly an exception.

Wonderful graphics, mesmerizing songs and the mysterious story setting. Watching the story unfolding is as interactive as reading a graphical novel, one could suppose. You need to buy the app in the iOS version to play for the same price but in Android version you could play the limited version(6-8 songs) and the piano tree is capped at 3.999m tall. If you're in doubt then borrow your friend's android tablet/phone to get a glimpse of the antiquity of this piece.

I'm still somewhere in the middle of the story(tree height: 16m) but so far my ears have been really pleased with the melodies of the songs collection

If you guys are perhaps wondering(perhaps, yes perhaps) where am I for this past few weeks and seeking for any new year's resolution post or event coverage, fear not - I'm still alive and kicking. It's only that I'm like really super busy right now although I'm in my supposedly long holiday - which is good since it means I'm using my time to do something rather productive than sitting around playing games the entire time.

I'm trying to keep my last year' promises on what should I do or accomplish once I finished my dear examination back in mid december(And my parents are visiting me from christmas to new year too so I don't have much time to type). Now I'm learning a lot and a lot of things about web design and the framework it lies upon. See, I'm doing something valuable right? :p

I really take my time to understand AngularJS, Foundation, LESS and SASS, Hybrid Core and many others including Flat design principle(Ah, I took the course from udemy offered by 1stwebdesigner for their promotion price) and designing icons, grids, infographics and much much more. All those listed are mainly my framework of choice(since Bootstrap documentation are much more available, then go for a harder one in Foundation ;) and Hybrid since it's really a clean wordpress parent theme).

Talking about wordpress, I think I'll be moving to my own hosted wordpress site soon once I learned more from my progress(uhh....it increases and decreases with a kinda random variable every day) and connect it to my personal website to showcase my works.

I stumbled upon a really nice looking site by Adam Hartwig, a designer based on UK and his works are so far the one that really catches my interest. The site is so lively and interactive, I wonder how long does it take for him to build it and validate it.

That's it for today. Other than my now Tier III ships in Star Conflict and 16m tree progress in Deemo(a rhythm-based game in iOS and Android. Ah, it was my first app purchase on the google play 'store' anyway since I really valued the product RayArk have done)
